The arrest was carried out under the directives of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, as part of ongoing efforts to track and shut down unlicensed activities.
Field investigations revealed that the property used for the operation was rented from an individual whose citizenship had recently been revoked. A warrant was obtained from the Public Prosecution Office, and a raid was conducted on the premises.
The suspect was taken into custody, and during questioning, he admitted to restarting the mining operation approximately 15 days ago after previously hiding the equipment during recent security inspections.
