Ministry of Commerce Shuts Down Six Unlicensed Shops in Amghara Scrapyard

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry carried out a surprise inspection campaign in the Amghara scrap area, resulting in the closure of six shops operating without proper licenses.

The operation was led by the Commercial Control Department – Jahra Inspection, under the directives of Minister of Commerce and Industry Khalifa Al-Ajeel and the supervision of Department Director Faisal Al-Ansari. An integrated inspection team, headed by Khaled Al-Enezi, Head of the Jahra Center for Commercial Control, and including inspectors Bandar Obaid, Raed Al-Enezi, and Ahmed Khalaf, identified the violations and shut down the offending shops in line with legal procedures.

A source told Al-Anba that the Ministry will continue to conduct similar unannounced inspections across Kuwait to curb commercial violations, maintain a fair business environment, and ensure all activities comply with existing laws and regulations.
