Meteorology: Strong Winds and Low Visibility to Persist Until Friday

Acting Director of the Meteorology Department, Dharar Al-Ali, announced that Kuwait will continue to be affected by strong northwesterly winds exceeding 60 km/h, causing reduced horizontal visibility in several areas and sea waves rising beyond six feet.

In a statement to KUNA, Al-Ali explained that weather models indicate this unstable and transitional period will persist through Friday evening, marked by rapid changes in weather conditions.

He urged motorists—particularly those on highways—to exercise caution due to limited visibility, and advised seafarers to avoid going out due to high wave activity. He also encouraged the public to stay updated by following the Meteorology Department’s official website, mobile app, and social media channels.Stay updated on Kuwait’s latest news and job openings by following our WhatsApp channel!https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VaCkXo25q08jnKrRwo27
